MaxPax is seeking an energetic and dedicated Quality Assurance Manager at our Walworth, WI facility. This position offers an excellent opportunity in the chemical and packaging industries. The Quality Assurance Manager performs quality assurance work in a manufacturing and assembly environment. Ideal candidates will have a strong technical background and QC experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment, excellent communication and problem solving skills, demonstrated leadership skills and effective PC skills. Further, the role assumes responsibility for ISO and FDA compliance, and is the point person during audits. Maxpax offers a competitive wage and benefits package.
Job description
• Full time
• Work in a fast paced environment
• Accurately analyze test data generated from the lab
• Asses compliancy needs and write, maintain, implement procedures
• Define Root Cause and report all issues with material to management for analysis and disposition
• Comply with all safety requirements and proper use of PPE
• Generate work instructions, specifications, procedure manuals and measurement tools to inspect and test materials; document all activities and findings
• Ensure that production is in line with cGMP regulations
Candidate
• Experience and education in a laboratory environment
• Experience in a GMP environment
• Strong attention to detail is a must
• Ability to ensure that procedures are followed accurately
• Experience with Validation studies.
• Ability to be successful in a very dynamic work environment.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Demonstrated analytical ability.
• Computer proficiency
• Have good written and oral communication skills.
• Spanish a plus
• Strong quantitative and qualitative capabilities
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Ability to lead and manage laboratory staff
• Asses specifications and communicate needs effectively crossfunctionally
